About Us

We are candle making duo Jose and Bryce based out of Seattle, Washington. Our candle story started over a cup of coffee three years ago. Our passion for candle making and blending fragrances stems from nostalgic memories over the years. Bryce incorporates his Midwest roots, while Jose embraces his Mexican and West Coast upbringing and our shared experiences around the world add a unique element.

Our background in operations, innovation, event experiences and customer service touch all aspects of our brand, Fingerprint & Co. Our passion for making candles started as a hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic – stuck at home in quarantine with nowhere to go. We spent our evenings and weekends making candles and sharing them with friends to brighten up their spaces during such challenging times. After much success (and a few mishaps here and there!), our hobby quickly turned into our passion and our company Fingerprint & Co. was born.

We believe being welcomed into anyone’s space is an honor and we celebrate that through our products. Through Fingerprint & Co., we empower you to be proud of what makes you stand out. You are as unique as your own fingerprint, no two are the same. Make an impression and show the world what you have to offer!

Candle Care

Safety first.

To prevent fire, burn candle within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children & pets. Burn on heat safe surface. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across container, not exceeding 4 hrs. Keep wax pool free of debris.

Avoid drafts. Never touch or move a hot candle.

Always let your first burn last 3-4 hours (until the pooling wax reaches the edge of the container).

The first time you light up a new candle, let it burn for a couple hours until the pool of wax reaches the edge of the container. If you don't, you run the risk of burning straight down the center of the candle and missing out on hours of fabulous fragrance.

Trim your wicks before EVERY burn. This is a must!

Before every candle burn, always take a moment to trim that wick to 1/8". This going to help your candle burn a little slower and a bit longer. Discard those trimming in the trash and make sure none land in the container. Happy trimming!

Once there's less than 1/4" of wax left in the container, it’s time to stop burning it.

Industry standard safety measures suggest not burning any candle all the way to the bottom of the container. So once you reach that point it’s time to purchase a new one and try to reuse your container. Our containers make great vases, plant pots and pen holders.
